Cathy grew up in Vancouver Washington, just north of Portland, Oregon, whereÂ she attended St. Mary's Academy. She then attended Clark College and laterÂ Highline College where she completed her air transportation degree. Her firstÂ opportunity to travel on her own was in high school. After dedicating 5 yearsÂ to French, she and her 16 other girlfriends hit the sky for Paris. It wasÂ a whirlwind two week adventure through big and small cities, a visit toÂ Switzerland and ending in the south of France in Nice. She thinks she left aÂ serious mark on the French! (She recalls a "brief" detainment as well!)

The next few years were spent in retail management with travel always mixedÂ in. She has also visited Ireland, Italy, the Caribbean and England. She took several work-related trips to Hawaii and ended up moving to Maui where she began to raise her 4 sons for the next ten years. Now back living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Seattle), her sons have allÂ grown and the last is set to start college this year.

Her job as a parent has now evolved, and she is looking forward to her new lifeÂ as Senior Travel Executive with Kevin, Mike and the entire team at AAW. She's sure that her 14 years in specialized travel and sales background will prove to be a benefit to AAW. Her experience also includes arranging detailed tours and trips for many people in the PNW, including chefs, golf tours and family vacations. Cathy believes a taste of travel should be in everyone's blood.
