Day 1: Arrive in Denver, CO travel to Breckenridge - Welcome to Colorado!
Upon arrival in Denver, CO, you will be met by your AAW guide and transferred in a luxury SUV to the beautiful mountain town of Breckenridge, CO (1.5 hours). This historic mining town boasts a quaint Victorian downtown and 300 days of sunshine each year. You will have the rest of the day free to relax in your luxurious accommodations and adjust to the altitude (9,606 feet!). Your AAW guide will provide a welcome dinner and orientation later in the evening. (D) Luxury accommodations in a Private Home.

Day 2: Breckenridge, CO - Mountain Biking & Alpine Slide
Breckenridge is one of the best adventure destinations in Colorado. The mountain consists of four peaks that ascend right from the actual town of Breckenridge. You will be provided with bike rentals and a guide to take you on a trail ride of your choice and then you are free to cruise the town at your leisure. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the base of Peak 8, where you will ride the lift up before taking an exhilarating ride on the alpine slide that descends down the Breckenridge ski slopes. Day 3: Vail, CO - Private 4x4 Hummer Tour
You will enjoy a leisurely morning in Breckenridge of shopping and exploring. Before lunch, you will depart for Vail, CO (1 hour). Here, you will meet your private 4x4 tour guide to begin your three-hour Humvee drive through the high mountains and rugged landscape of Colorado. Climb through open meadows and Aspen glades, cross over creeks and enjoy incredible panoramic views of four different mountain ranges. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will tell you about the local history and teach you about the bountiful nature surrounding you. After lunch with your tour, you will have the evening free to enjoy the quaint Bavarian style of Vail Village and the stunning peaks of Vail Ski Resort, or you can return to Breckenridge for dinner. Day 4: Breckenridge, CO - Explore Breckenridge
Breckenridge is one of the best adventure destinations in Colorado. The mountain consists of four peaks that ascend right from the actual town of Breckenridge. Your day will be at your leisure and activities available will include golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed Breckenridge Golf Course, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Shopping, Sailing on Lake Dillion, exploring or just relaxing. (No Meals) Luxury accommodations in a Private Home.

Day 5: Buena Vista,  CO - Whitewater Rafting Trip
After breakfast, you will travel across Hoosier PAss to Buena Vista to meet at the rafting company and begin your full-day rafting adventure down the Arkansas River with your Adventures Around the World guide. Be prepared for an exciting and splashy ride through spectacular gorges and canyons while you paddle your way downstream. After Rafting you will enjoy the Local Hot SPrings before returning to Breckenridge to relax and enjoy the local nightlife and restaurants. (L) Luxury accommodations in a Private Home.

Day 6: Breckenridge, CO - Explore Breckenridge
Breckenridge is one of the best adventure destinations in Colorado. The mountain consists of four peaks that ascend right from the actual town of Breckenridge. Your day will be at your leisure and activities available will include golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed Breckenridge Golf Course, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Shopping, Sailing on Lake Dillion, exploring or just relaxing. This evening you will enjoy a farwell dinner.  (Farewell Dinner) Luxury accommodations in a Private Home.

Day 7: Depart Denver, CO for Home
Your AAW guide will transfer you to the Denver International Airport for your return flight home.

Private AAW Guide/Driver Services: Your trip will be led by a private AAW guide/driver, allowing you to travel in luxury and without stress. Your local guide/driver will be highly knowledgeable about your destination's sights, activities, and customs, and will handle all aspects of your trip. Making A Reservation
If this sounds like the perfect adventure vacation for you, just contact your travel agent or Adventures Around the World directly to make a reservation.  A 25% deposit is due immediately, with the balance due 60 days before departing on your adventure.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as checks payable to Adventures Around the World. Please review the AAW Terms and Conditions before payment, as you are bound by our Terms, Conditions, Payment and Cancellation policies once we receive your deposit.

What’s Next?
Once we have received your trip deposit, one of our adventure travel professionals will provide you with pre-departure trip information and packing lists, as well as a guest information questionnaire and liability release form to be returned within 10 days. After that, we will handle all of the details as you relax and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!


Important Policies

  • Your deposit of 25% of the total cost of your vacation is due immedetely upon booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • The price shown is per person NET, and does not include international air fare to/from the trip start point.
  • Prices are based on current rates of exchange, government fees, tarrifs and taxes. Any increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
  • We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes. We will endeavour to confirm final hotel bookings as soon as possible.
  • Cancellation - Cancellations 60 days or more prior to departure will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee. 60-30 days will be subject to loss of 50% of trip cost. 30-15 days will be subject to loss of 75% of trip cost. 15 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
  • Payment of the program price constitutes your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out by Adventures Around the World.
