Thailand is a tropical country located in Southeast Asia, and the best time to visit is between November and February. This is the main season for local festivals and holidays, as well as the season with the least rain and lowest temperatures. Depending of the destination of travel, the climate changes between the southern islands, beaches and the mountainous northern provinces. In general, hot season is from March to May when the temperatures get the most hot and humid. The rainy season is from June to October, with the months of July to October having the most rainfall.
